Cary Pottery Traditions

Kenneth opening reduction kiln

Cary Pottery is a unique studio and gallery in historic Cary North Carolina

Located in Eastside Park Shopping Center, the gallery showcases the work of Master Potter Kenneth Neilsen. For more than 40 years Kenneth has crafted each piece by hand. Within the studio, pieces are produced from Laguna Clay and finished in proprietary  glazed patterns developed throughout his career.

Artisan Glaze Patterns

Each piece has its own unique pattern within the different glazes so no two pieces will ever be the exact same.
All pieces shown are available for purchase, when in stock, in-store, over the phone, or online.

Each mug, bowl, or crock is built with function in mind—durable, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe. Kenneth’s signature glazes are the result of years of testing and tinkering, balancing color chemistry with a dash of alchemy.
